MHSI Physicians Teach Future Doctors
The expertise of MHSI doctors is evident as several physicians at Michigan Head and Spine Institute are professors at the Oakland University (OU) William Beaumont School of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery. Eight MHSI doctors have taken the charge of imparting their wealth of knowledge on to the younger generation.
Fernando Diaz, M.D., Ph.D., is the department chair and a professor. Other full professors include Daniel B. Michael, M.D., Ph.D., and Mick Perez-Cruet, M.D. Associate professors include Holly Gilmer, M.D. and Daniel Pieper, M.D. Assistant professors are Bradley T. Hall, D.O., Todd Nida, M.D., F.A.C.S., Omar Qahwash, D.O. and Daniel K. Fahim,
