Brain and Spine Tumor Expert Returns to Michigan
Daniel K. Fahim, M.D., provides surgical and non-surgical treatment options for primary and metastatic brain and spine tumors. As an award-winning researcher, Dr. Fahim is constantly improving treatment for patients with cancer affecting the brain or spine. He presents his research findings at state, national, and international meetings. His research contributions involve the management of complex brain and spine tumors, developing a better understanding of spine biomechanics and spine fusions, complication avoidance in spine surgery, and maximizing safety in brain tumor surgery.
A Troy High School and University of Michigan Medical School alum, Dr. Fahim has returned to his home in Michigan after training at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Fahim also specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spine surgery. He serves as the Director of Neurosurgery at Botsford Hospital and the Director of the Spine Tumor program and Co-director of Brain Tumor Program at Beaumont Health System.
