Dr. Veyna is currently an attending Neurosurgeon at St. John Health System, Detroit, Michigan since 2007.
His areas of interest are Complex spinal disorders and instrumentation of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disease, minimally invasive surgery, surgical treatment of traumatic spinal injuries, surgical treatment of aneurysms, deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s Disease, essential tremor and dystonia, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve tumors.
Dr. Veyna has developed a multispecialty program for surgical treatment of movement disorders, partnered with Struthers Parkinson’s Disease Center, a Parkinson’s Disease Foundation Center of Excellence in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
