Dr. Perez-Cruet is an internationally-recognized pioneer in the treatment of spinal disorders through the use of minimally-invasive surgical techniques. A minimally invasive textbook author, Outpatient Spinal Surgery and his most recent textbook, Minimally Invasive Spine Fusion: Techniques and Operative Nuances, his work has resulted in an improved quality of life for many patients. He also leads the Minimally Invasive Neurosurgical Society, a national association.
His national medical educational program found on the College of Neurological Surgeons website Gray Matter, A Neurosurgical Overview, is now available, and “Neurosurgical Reference Card”, which was recently distributed to all second year medical students in the United States.
