Carotid Artery Stenting is a New catheter-based technology that allows safe access to the extra- and intracranial vasculature to perform cerebral stent procedures.  Small, flexible microcatheters are maneuvered into the cerebral circulation and stents are placed in vessels to open up the circulation to the brain.
