Diana Burmeister is a certified neurosurgical physician assistant with extensive specialized post graduate training and nearly 10 years of clinical practice in the field of Neurosurgery. She also has clinical experience in both Occupational Medicine and Internal Medicine. Her patients are seen in both in the hospital and office setting. Working with board certified neurosurgeon Mark Goldberger, D.O., Diana’s rigorous training certifies her to perform surgery as a first assistant in the operating room, with an emphasis in complex spine and general neurosurgery; in addition she performs physical exams, diagnose illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans. She is also certified to prescribe medication, and educate patients regarding health concerns and surgical procedures.
